I think this quote speaks for itself. Lindsay grew up in several different places, including Japan and southern California. She has protested with numerous groups. We spoke about the differences in culture between northern and southern California. I assumed that the Bay Area had more political and social movements, but Lindsay informed me of large influences made by the Black Panther Party and the Yellow Power Movement.
